So Adam and I have been working so hard on our redesign - a cleaner, more modern look to the site.
While there are many new features and so many more coming, we wanted to tell you a little bit more about the redesign.
We wanted to look at the site from a new set of eyes. We wanted you to experience the information on the site, rather than having to deal with where you need to go. We wanted clear direction, and we wanted it to look awesome.
With the help of our UI Expert, Jason, we were able to achieve all of our goals. So many meetings over coffee and dinner, we started to form the new site. We learned the value of 'white space' and how important it is, and how much of a difference it made on
MentorMyself.
We also wanted to get more personal. We want you to get to know us and our story and why we created MentorMyself. So.... My picture went up on the homepage of the site. Yup - thats me. I was nervous at first, seeing that I am front and center, but I like it. I am the co-founder of MentorMyself, and I am so proud of what we have done.
I was also shifting my focus from designing the site with Adam to working more on putting my knowledge out there. I wanted to share so many things about so many subjects with you. I wanted to start with my focus on baby products. Since Adam and I just had a baby - well 14 months ago, I experienced first hand what every mother experiences. You go through so many products and methods - you find ones you love, like and some you really hate. While everyone is different, I wanted to share the things that have worked for me and a lot of my friends who also have babies.
And Adam started to shift his focus as well but he wanted to concentrate on fitness. He has built some amazing features that we can't wait to share with everyone once they are perfected and tested.
Anyways, the journey continues. We are always trying to improve our site, add amazing content for you to learn from, and to have an experience that will change your life.
Thanks for stopping by,
Brianna
